Important Notice
For the avoidance of any doubt, we are not a regulated law firm nor are we regulated or authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. For this reason, we do not undertake any work that is prescribed to be reserved legal activities under the Legal Services Act 2007.
Our Services
The scope of the services we will provide is set out in the Engagement Letter. We will provide the services to you with reasonable care and skill. However, the nature of the work may mean that it is not possible to guarantee a particular outcome.
Service Standards
All services are delivered with professional care and expertise, tailored to your specific requirements as outlined in our formal engagement process.
Your Responsibilities
To ensure we can provide you with the best possible service, you agree to:
Charges and Billing
You are liable to pay charges as set out in the Engagement Letter. Our invoices become due for payment within 7 days, but always in advance of commencing the work unless otherwise stated.
Payment Terms
Payment is typically required within 7 days of invoice date, with advance payment required before work commencement unless alternative arrangements are specified in your Engagement Letter.
Limitation of Liability
Our maximum liability to you in relation to any single or group of connected instructions shall be limited to the lower of:
Option A
£5,000 maximum liability cap
Option B
100% of total charges paid in the preceding 12-month period
Governing Law
Jurisdiction
This agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
